MARVELLOUS MARQUEE WEDDING IN 15 WEEKS
Yes you read that correctly. This marquee wedding was planned in just over 3 months. Initially speaking to the bride in late January, her opening question ‘Is it possible to plan a marquee wedding to take place in May’ was met with an immediate and enthusiastic ‘yes!’.
The key to being able to organise this countryside wedding for the couple was knowing the right and most trusted wedding professionals to recommend.
Building relationships with my couples is also crucial and I’m delighted that several years on we’re still in touch. I’ve loved watching their family grow with addition of 3 adorable boys.

UK DESTINATION WINTER WEDDING
Living overseas in the beautiful setting of Bermuda, K&J knew that they wanted to return to the UK to host their wedding. More specifically, they knew they wanted their ceremony to take place in the local church where the groom grew up, which was very dear to his heart. They also knew that they would need the expertise of a UK based wedding planner to bring their wedding to life.
Many weekend zoom calls were held and a couple of occasions during the planning that enabled them to combine returning to the UK to see family & friends with wedding planning tasks such as food tastings, dress & suit fittings.
Part of my Full Wedding Planning service includes handling wedding invitations & RSVPs and due to the logistics of their wedding we opted for a combined invitation & website to ensure the guests, many also travelling from overseas, could be kept up dated with potential changes and essential wedding details.

A LUXURIOUS LONDON WEDDING
Whilst the bride was relaxing the wedding morning, I was overseeing set up & coordinating suppliers at one of London’s most iconic wedding venues – Kew Gardens. S&L are a fabulously international couple, hailing from South Africa and Denmark. With many guests flying in for their London wedding, they wanted to wow at every turn. And their wedding didn’t disappoint.
Following an elegant but romantic ceremony in The Nash Conservatory, guests walked through the stunning gardens to The Princess of Wales Conservatory for reception drinks & canapés. The sounds of laughter rose among the many shades of green and incredible flora, whilst a jazz trio played adding an air of relaxed sophistication.
Guests meandered once again through the gardens to The Orangery where they were wowed with a mouthwatering 4 course wedding breakfast, whilst the champagne & conversations flowed.
Their London wedding ended on a high of cocktails, cake & dancing. And a kiss fit for old Hollywood!

A FESTIVE AND FUN LANGHAM WEDDING
You know that bit between Christmas & New Year when you don’t know what day it is, yet alone what the date is? Well K&J will forever remember Thursday 29th December 2022!
This very modern couple who met through a well-known dating app are definitely a match made in heaven. They always knew they wanted to host a chic and stylish winter wedding in London. The Langham Hotel in the heart of the West End ticked all the boxes in terms of location, personality and luxury.
Fun for friends and family was the order of the day, and The Function Band, along with a host of other talented wedding professionals, ensured that dream became a reality – this was one epic party atmosphere.
Mary was an absolute dream to work with.

A GLORIOUS GARDEN MARQUEE WEDDING
Meeting whilst travelling the globe, the rest, as they say, is history. Our journey together started 6 months prior to their summer wedding with my Bespoke Wedding Planning. Then a certain pandemic hit meaning their church wedding was postponed not once, but twice. Third time’s a charm, so they say, and this gorgeous wedding had charm in spades!
Planning their marquee wedding was then given another little bump when C&D moved from London to Thailand! Zoom calls during the weekend & early morning became our norm.
The Groom’s childhood home in the heart of the countryside provided the perfect setting & as the bride is American she wanted all those travelling from overseas to enjoy & witness the beauty of the English countryside. Combining a stunning barn with a marquee, their wedding was a perfect day of relaxed elegance, quintessential English, and a whole lot of love.

BLACK TIE ELEGANCE AT THE DORCHESTER
Hosting their wedding at one of London’s most recognised and well-known hotels, K&H’s black tie autumn wedding was a true test of my logistical skills.
This timelessly stylish couple chose The Orchid Room with its pale, Wedgwood-inspired interiors for the entirety of their celebration. It’s a calm, elegant space with gorgeously high ceilings, and we transformed it not once, not twice but three times over the course of the day.
With careful design and beautiful florals, the room segued from Civil Wedding Ceremony to Wedding Breakfast, culminating in their evening celebrations. The bride also transformed from a simple, elegant wedding gown to a designer jumpsuit that certainly wowed, enabling her to dance the whole night long!
With a team of incredible suppliers on board, not least Creation Events who made the seamless transitions, this stylish London wedding was elegant, sophisticated and full of fun.
Mary instantly put us at ease.
