The Grand Ballroom
Meticulously restored to preserve its sparkling chandeliers and dramatic renaissance pillars, the Grand Ballroom sets the stage for a truly magical celebration.
Although K&J chose to host a winter wedding, set between Christmas & New Year. The Grand Ballroom has the unique bonus of an outdoor adjoining Courtyard Garden for reception drinks during warmer months. One of London’s oldest private gardens, a truly magical experience in the heart of the West End.
The Portland Foyer, with its picture perfect staircase, provided the ideal setting for their post ceremony drinks reception.
Whilst chilled champagne flowed & mouthwatering canapes served.
Their guests enjoyed the delightful sounds of the string quartet Nero gently serenading them.
Initially the backdrop for their civil wedding ceremony, The Grand Ballroom was transformed to create their spectacular wedding breakfast & evening reception space.
Guests were treated to a wedding breakfast of Dorset Crab Salad, Tender Glazed Beef followed by a warm cinnamon doughnut, praline ice cream & chocolate.
The Langham chefs catered to every dietary requirement & taste
From the happy couple’s youngest nieces & nephews to those wedding guests with gluten, dairy & nut allergies. As well as serving vegan & vegetarian options.
All whilst being entertained throughout the wedding breakfast by The Function Band, who I assure you deliver a totally unique atmosphere. From the moment the guests re-entered The Grand Ballroom until the clock struck midnight. The Function Band kept the dancefloor filled.
With Exciting Fireworks delivering a little extra dancefloor sparkle.
Special touches
A special gift from the brides’ brothers was the truly talented Lucy Live Event Artist.
Quietly & diligently painting throughout the day & evening. Creating the most amazing keepsakes for the happy couple.
With an array of luxurious bedrooms & suites at The Langham. K&J were able to arrive the day prior to settle in, welcome family & friends as well as enjoy a pre-wedding dinner.
Before waking fresh & relaxed ready for Botais to begin the wedding hair & make up preparations.
Post Wedding Day
The newlyweds were then able to continue their celebrations with a hearty breakfast the morning after the big day surrounded by their loved ones.
Before then jetting off to the Maldives to welcome in the New Year as Mr & Mrs!
